Mango or Cherry Frozen Margaritas (VG) from Pull Up A Chair

Nothing says ‘party!’ quite like a frozen marg, bursting with zesty fruitiness that’s balanced by the citrus-salty rim of the glass. And with the high fruit content, you could *almost* pass this off as a healthy way to celebrate summer.Martha Collison, author of Pull Up a Chair

200g (7oz) frozen pitted black cherries or frozen mango chunks

50ml (2fl oz) tequila

25ml (1fl oz) triple sec

Handful of ice cubes

Juice of 1 lime, plus lime wedges to serve

1–2 tablespoons agave syrup or honey

Sea salt flakes, for the rims

Tip the cherries or mango into a blender, along with the tequila, triple sec, ice cubes and lime juice. Blitz well, then add enough agave to sweeten to taste.

Tip the salt on to a small plate. Run a wedge of lime around the rims of 2 glasses and then dip them into the salt so it sticks. Divide the contents of the blender between the glasses, garnish each one with another wedge of lime, and enjoy!
